A year ago, my Mama gave birth to a healthy baby girl, Haley Paige… That’s Me!!! Well, it was really nice to be out of my Mama’s tummy… just imagine… nine months trapped in a tummy!!!
It felt refreshing to finally be out in the world! When the doctor opened up my Mama’s tummy, I started crying even before I got out… guess I was too excited! What I really hated was when the nurses put this tube up my nose so that I could breathe better… well, it was for my own good, but I surely hated it!!! No one was allowed to hold me at first… not even my Mama, they just looked through a glass wall, but my Mama couldn’t see me ‘coz she was all groggy since the doctors over injected her with anesthesia… poor Mama!!!
On my second day, in the evening, I felt someone come into my ‘nursery’ and take me into their arms. It didn’t feel like the nurse who usually takes care of me… it was someone else… someone who I felt so secure with… it was my Mama… finally!!! Though I couldn’t see, I just knew it was her… I could feel the warmth… the love… it was like magic!
I got to go home on the third day but not with my Mama coz I had to stay back to do a bit of sun bathing! Hahaha… Well, when I got home it was different coz there was a lot of noise… I think a lot of people came to visit me and everyone wanted to hold me… it was a nice feeling! I got to celebrate my birthday every month till I turned a year…
I walk a lot now and eat a lot! And I think I like to dress up pretty like my Mama… anyways, take a look at some of my birthday pics… hope u enjoy!!!
